Kubler Sets up production facility in India
In
January 2008, the German-based Fritz Kübler
GmbH, founded the latest member of the Kübler
Group: Kübler Automation India Pvt. Ltd in Pune,
India. Kübler is a leading manufacturer of
incremental & absolute encoders, linear
measurement systems, inclinometers, counters,
slip rings and process technology and has been
successfully present in India for more than 10
years in cooperation with Rajdeep Automation
Ltd., Kübler’s distributor. Today Kübler has
grown
into the leading brand in India.
To sustain this growth, Kübler India will focus
on sales, service as well as assembly. Sales
will be executed in close cooperation with
Rajdeep Automation Ltd, Kübler´s key
distributor. Encoders for the local Indian
market as well as designated export customers
will be manufactured in the new facility in Pune.
This helps to shorten lead times and increase
flexibility significantly. Most importantly,
Kübler India will offer local technical support
for customers, thus
simplifying pre-sales and after
sales service for customers in India.
Even High Tech field bus encoder
support, e.g. for Profibus or Canopen encoders,
can be provided locally.
Since high quality is Kübler’s most valued
assets, products assembled at Kübler India will
naturally be produced, tested and qualified
according to stringent Kübler Germany standards.

extensively trained
at
our german
production facility.

Initially,
the SendixTM line of
incremental encoders will be produced in India.
This product line has set new benchmarks for
encoders worldwide since 2005. Its
robust design leads to a prolonged
encoder life time and even
withstands excessive mechanical handling during
installation and during service. Encoder related
field downtimes
have been reduced by as much as
85%, according to a 2 years study by the service
department of Kübler Germany. Kübler is proud to
offer this breakthrough technology to Indian
customers, assembled in India
with
typical Kübler Germany quality.

Coloured Touchscreen Graphical PLC + MMI
Vision570™
The Vision570™ is a powerful PLC with a built-in
HMI Operator Panel, comprising a 5.7” color
touchscreen display. On-board I/Os can be added
by simply snapping a module onto the back of the
PLC; Snap-in I/O Modules come in several
configurations. I/O Expansion modules enable
integrating up to 171 I/Os per Vision PLC.
The Vision570™ offers a rich range of embedded
features such as multiple auto-tuned PID loops,
and internal 120K database for datalogging and
recipe programming. Communication options
include TCP/IP Ethernet, GSM/SMS, MODBUS and
CANopen networking plus remote access for data
acquisition and program download.
2MB Ladder code application memory (plus 6MB for
images and 1MB for fonts) enable the Vision570™
to run complex control and automation tasks.
The 256-color touchscreen HMI enables the
display of color-coded operator instructions and
red, attention-grabbing alarm screens. It can
also display graphs according to historical
values—to reflect trends of recorded data.
Display options are almost endless with more
than 1000 user-designed screens, and up to 500
images per application.
The Vision PLC/Graphic HMI series introduces an
unbeatable price-performance ratio, enabling
users to enjoy the advanced features of both the
operator panel and the PLC, while maintaining
low budget, reduced programming time and minimum
wiring.
